Guatemala declares state of calamity in response to tropical storm

Guatemala has declared a state of calamity to address the damage caused by tropical storm Julia, The Weather Channel reported citing Xinhua. The National Coordination for Disaster Reduction said the storm has damaged 17 roads and seven bridges and affected over 153,000 people so far.
