Regulator approves 2023 health insurance rates hikes

North Dakota regulators have approved health insurance premium increases for 2023 that in some cases will increase rates by double digits for those covered through the small group and individual markets, Inforum reports. In the small group market, approved premium changes ranged from an average decrease of 7.5% for Medica Insurance Co. to an average increase of 8.8% for Blue Cross Blue Shield of North Dakota.
