New Jersey communities consider bailing out of state benefits program

New Jersey counties and towns are considering whether to leave the State Health Benefits Program after a state commission approved rate increases of more than 20% last month, the New Jersey Monitor reports. The increases are blamed on inflation and a shift in the way workers used benefits during the pandemic.
