Airbus, Air France face manslaughter trial over 2009 flight crash

Plane manufacturer Airbus SE and French airline Air France-KLM SA are now facing a manslaughter trial in Paris Criminal Court over the fatal flight AF447 crash in 2009 that killed 228 people, Reuters reported. The companies have been accused of negligence, with Airbus accused of not taking timely actions against a growing number of speed incidents associated with pitot probes and Air France being blamed for inadequate pilot training.
