Indian general insurer names new CEO

India-based general insurer SBI General Insurance Co. Ltd., the insurance unit of State Bank of India (SBI), has named Kishore Kumar Poludasu as its new managing director and chief executive, effective Oct. 4, Adda 247 reported. Mr. Poludasu has been with SBI since 1991 and was most recently working as deputy managing director and country head of SBI’s Singapore Operations.
