Howden acquires leading French marine insurance broker

U.K.-based Howden Broking Group Ltd. has acquired Seasecure SARL, one of the largest independent marine and cargo insurance brokers in France, Verdict reported. The French brokerage is comprised of two operating entities – Seasecure and Guian – which jointly serve shipowners, operators, charterers, and all parties across the supply chain.
