Patriot buys Philadelphia broker

Acquisitive broker Patriot Growth Insurance Services LLC on Tuesday said it has bought broker Professional Risk Group LLC of Philadelphia.

Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Pro Risk Group focuses on cyber liability, professional liability, and management liability insurance, and offers cyber, directors & officers and errors & emissions coverages for small to mid-sized companies, a statement said.

Pro Risk has fewer than 10 employees and all are joining Patriot, according to a Patriot spokeswoman.

Patriot is listed as the 35th-largest broker of U.S. business in the most recent Business Insurance rankings.
