AUB Group closes Lloyd’s broker Tysers’ acquisition for $558 million

Australia-based insurance broker network AUB Group Ltd. has completed the acquisition of U.K.-based Tysers Insurance Brokers Ltd. from Odyssey Investment Partners for £500 million ($558 million), Verdict reported. Tysers is a specialist wholesale insurance broker in Lloyd’s marketplace. The acquisition will help AUB gain direct access to Lloyd’s market as well as expand its products portfolio.
