Severe bird flu outbreak could hit turkey supplies this Christmas

The U.K.’s National Farmers' Union has warned that the supply of turkeys in the U.K. could be severely disrupted during the Christmas season as the U.K. faces its worst avian flu outbreak in history, Yahoo News reported citing Sky News. Bird flu has been detected at 155 sites across the U.K. and more than three million birds have been culled so far.
