Catastrophic floods cause $28 billion loss in Pakistan

According to the Post Disaster Needs Assessment, total losses from the recent devastating floods in Pakistan have reached $28 billion, Outlook India reported citing Dawn newspaper and PTI. The catastrophic floods severely damaged infrastructure, properties, and farmlands, while also claiming the lives of more than 1,600 people.
