Energy crisis could lead to mobile network outages in Europe

Telecommunication companies in European countries, including France, Sweden and Germany, have raised concerns of mobile network connectivity disruptions this winter should the energy crisis in Europe lead to power cuts for telecom companies, India Today reported citing Reuters. Russia's decision to halt gas supplies to European nations amid the war in Ukraine has increased the risk of power shortages that could result in power supply rationing which could impact Europe's telecoms infrastructure.
