Insured hurricane losses could reach $515 million in Canada

Credit rating agency DBRS Morningstar said that insured losses from Hurricane Fiona could reach up to $700 million Canadian ($515 million) in Canada, The Epoch Times reported citing The Canadian Press. DBRS said that although significant, the losses won’t be large enough to affect the financial strength of the top property insurers serving Atlantic Canada.
