Price Forbes hires former Carpenter, Gallagher execs in Peru

London-based wholesale broker Price Forbes & Partners Ltd. has hired former Arthur J. Gallagher & Co. executive Jose Antonio Osterling and former Guy Carpenter & Co. LLC executive Luis Felipe Ganoza to head its newly formed Lima, Peru, unit.

Mr. Osterling will be chairman of Price Forbes Peru, and Mr. Ganoza will be commercial director, according to a statement Friday from Price Forbes, a unit of Ardonagh Group Holdings Ltd.

Price Forbes’ Latin American operations focus on providing facultative reinsurance and structured reinsurance services to local insurers, the statement said.

Ardonagh, which owns Ed Broking and Besso Insurance, among other insurance-related companies, bought Price Forbes in 2017.
