Arizona county says care for vaccinated cost less, as vax mandate ends

As a state ban on vaccine mandates is set to take effect Sept. 24, new data shows that vaccinated employees in Pima County, Arizona, have cost the county “significantly” less in health care costs than unvaccinated employees, reports State of Reform. The health care cost to Pima County for unvaccinated employees from Oct. 21, 2021 to July 31, 2022 was $768 per employee per month compared to $475 per employee per month for vaccinated employees.
