Skuld back in black with profit of $18 million

Norway-based marine insurer Assuranceforeningen Skuld recorded a profit of $18 million in the six months ended Aug 20, as compared to a loss of nearly $25 million in the year-ago comparable period, Hellenic Shipping News Worldwide reported. The results were mainly driven by a positive technical result, investment returns and the completion of the sale of its shareholding in Lloyd's of London managing agency, Asta Capital Ltd.
