Over 1,000 flights canceled due to air traffic controllers’ strike

An air traffic controllers’ strike in France set for Sept. 16 and 17 has forced airlines to cancel more than 1,000 flights, causing severe travel disruptions, Euronews reported. The strike could also disrupt European flights flying over the French airspace. The industrial action has been called over working conditions and wages.
