MGA Coalition introduces its cyber products in UK

Coalition Inc., a managing general agent specializing in cyber risk, said Tuesday it has started conducting business in London, effective Sept. 1.
Coalition said in its statement it will distribute its products via brokers across the United Kingdom backed by a multiyear capacity agreement with Allianz Global Corporate & Specialty SE.
Coalition said it plans to target the small-to-medium enterprise sector, focusing on companies with up to one billion pounds ($1.15 billion) in revenue.
The San Francisco-based MGA said Tom Draper, former technology and cyber practice leader for Arthur J. Gallagher & Co. in London, has joined it as head of insurance, UK, and Stephen Wares, former MS Amlin principal cyber underwriter in London, is head of risk engineering, UK.
