Indian firms increasingly seek cyber insurance amid high cyber risks

Indian businesses are increasingly seeking cyber security insurance cover as more of them digitize their operations and cyber attacks grow in frequency and severity, Live Mint reported. India’s cyber insurance market has grown at an annualized rate of 30% to 35% over the past two years, according to T.A. Ramalingam, chief technical officer for Indian insurer Bajaj Allianz General Insurance Co Ltd.
