Talanx refuses to underwrite East African Crude Oil Pipeline

German insurer Talanx AG has announced that it will not reinsure the East African Crude Oil Pipeline, meant to transport oil between Uganda and Tanzania, Bright Green reported. With this, the German insurer has joined the list of 11 other insurance and reinsurance companies, including Scor SE, Hannover Re SE and Argo Group International Holdings Ltd. that have refused to underwrite the pipeline.
