Brown & Brown hires from Premier, adds analytics execs

Brown & Brown Inc. said Wednesday it had hired former Premier Insurance Management Services Inc. executive Matthew Siciliani as executive vice president, health care growth officer.

The broker also said Wednesday it had added four to its analytics team.

Based in the company’s Sacramento, California, office, Mr. Sicilani will head strategic planning and distribution of health care services, a statement said.

He was most recently senior vice president of underwriting and business development for Premier.

The broker said Hamzeh Gol-Zaroudi, Scott Kaminski, Caleb Blodgett and Thomas Scott have also joined the firm.

Mr. Gol-Zaroudi joins Brown & Brown as a senior catastrophe modeling analyst and is focused on property and energy team initiatives, specifically technical risk quantification research and exposure data strategy.

He most recently worked in research and modeling.

As a research actuary on the team, Mr. Kaminski will focus on risk quantification R&D projects in cyber, D&O and non-cat property. He was most recently an actuary at Travelers Cos. Inc.

Mr. Blodgett is a research actuary specializing in risk modeling for cyber liability. He was most recently manager, actuarial and analytics with Travelers Cos. Inc.

Mr. Scott also works as a research actuary on the team, specializing in property and D&O risk modeling. He was most recently an actuary at AF Group Inc.
