Luxembourg’s energy conglomerate hit by ransomware attack

Luxembourg-based energy conglomerate Encevo Group’s subsidiaries, Creos Luxembourg SA and Enovos Luxembourg SA fell victim to a ransomware attack, as the AlphV ransomware gang hacked into the companies’ systems on July 22 and 23 and stole data, IT Pro reported. The hackers claim to have access to 180,000 files from Creos, including company contracts, agreements, passports, bills, and emails.
