PCF buys construction warranty MGA

PCF Insurance Services said Thursday it has bought Professional Warranty Service Corp., a Chantilly, Virginia-based managing general agent specializing in construction warranty coverage.

Terms were not disclosed.

PWSC has 26 employees and focuses on structural and appliance warranty products for builders, property managers and homeowners, a PCF statement said.

Lehi, Utah-based PCF is the 20th largest broker of U.S. business, according to Business Insurance’s latest ranking. It was the most active buyer of rival brokers in the first half of 2022.
