Vendor data breach puts dozens of health plans at risk

Dozens of health care providers and health insurers were affected by a data breach involving printing and mailing vendor OneTouchPoint, reports Becker’s Hospital Review. Affected organizations include Blue Shield of California Promise Health, Kaiser Permanente, Geisinger Health System, Health First, University of Pittsburgh Medical Center Health Plan, Humana Inc., Elevance Health and several other Blue Cross Blue Shield affiliates, the report says.
