Akbar Al Baker, chief executive of Qatar Airways Co. QCSC, has warned that aviation industry disruptions, mostly stemming from the COVID-19 pandemic, will last for another couple of years, Sacramento Time reported citing Financial Times. Mr. Al Baker said that the pandemic has damaged the aviation industry supply chain by causing a shortage of aircraft spare parts, delay in aircraft production and deliveries, and severe labor shortage in Europe, all of which have adversely affected Qatar Airways and other airlines.
