African Risk Capacity to offer insurance for agriculture, renewable energy sectors

South Africa-based insurer African Risk Capacity Group has committed to extend insurance cover to the African agriculture and green energy sectors, Daijiworld reported citing Xinhua. The insurer will provide insurance for agricultural losses caused by weather events such as drought, floods, and tropical cyclones, and will also offer coverage for renewable power projects in Africa.
