Scor upsizes retro reinsurance cat bond to $250 million

French reinsurer Scor SE is now seeking as much as $250 million in retro reinsurance protection from its new catastrophe bond issuance, up from the previous target size of $150 million, Artemis reported. The new Atlas Capital Reinsurance 2022 DAC (Series 2022-1) cat bond will provide Scor with a three-year retro cover for losses from European windstorms, earthquakes and named storms in the U.S., and earthquakes in Canada.
