BI’s Article search uses Boolean search capabilities. If you are not familiar with these principles, here are some quick tips.

To search specifically for more than one word, put the search term in quotation marks. For example, “workers compensation”. This will limit your search to that combination of words.

To search for a combination of terms, use quotations and the & symbol. For example, “hurricane” & “loss”.

Skyward Specialty Insurance Group said Thursday it is introducing renewable energy contractors coverage as part of its construction and energy product portfolio.

The Houston-based insurer said the coverage targets a wide range of contractors that specialize in wind and solar energy conversion systems for private and commercial or industrial purposes.

Skyward said the coverage will primarily focus on contractors that erect and service land-based metal wind turbine and solar power installations or service work that have the same risk characteristics.

The coverage will include general liability, property, primary commercial automobile and excess liability.

Rick Childs, senior vice president, head of construction, oil and gas, said in an email Skyward is offering up to $2 million in general liability limits, $1 million in combined single limit auto insurance and $5 million in excess coverage.

Skyward said last month it plans to become publicly held.
