Audi’s production takes a hit from supply chain disruptions

German automaker Audi AG has suspended production of its A4, A5 and A8 models at its German factory in Neckarsulm from May 16 to 20 due to a shortage of components, Automotive Management reported citing Automotive News Europe. The ongoing shortage of semiconductors, and supply-chain disruptions caused by COVID-19 lockdowns in China and the war in Ukraine have severely crimped the availability of parts.
