NFP strengthens private equity business

NFP Corp. said Tuesday it has added a stable of complex risk services for private companies.

Brian Flanagan, managing director who joined NFP as part of last year’s acquisition of Thompson Flanagan, will lead the private equity group, the New York-based broker said.

NFP said in its statement the group will offer a full gamut of mergers and acquisitions services for private equity firms and their portfolio companies.

Members of the group are Curtis Young, leader, reps and warranties; Andrew Pendergast, managing director, SPAC and general partnership liability practice leader; Frank Zimmer,  leader, property/casualty operations; Vipul Kumar, senior vice president, reps and warranties; and Michael Sharkey, vice president, reps and warranties.
