Warren Buffett-backed carmaker blamed for health issues in kids

Chinese automaker BYD Auto Co. Ltd.’s factory in Hunan’s Yuhua district is being probed by local authorities over gas emissions that are allegedly affecting health of nearby residents, Hindustan Times reported. The Warren Buffett-backed company is accused of harmful emissions that have affected the health of children in the surrounding areas, with more than 600 kids experiencing repeated nosebleeds since April.
