To search specifically for more than one word, put the search term in quotation marks. For example, “workers compensation”. This will limit your search to that combination of words.

To search for a combination of terms, use quotations and the & symbol. For example, “hurricane” & “loss”.

Axa, Credit Agricole vying to acquire Banco BPM’s insurance business

French insurer Axa SA is reportedly in talks to acquire a majority stake in Italian bank Banco BPM SpA’s insurance operations but it’s facing a challenge from France-based Credit Agricole Group, Verdict reported citing Bloomberg. Axa’s purchase can go ahead only after Banco BPM acquires full ownership of its insurance operations, which are valued at $1.6 billion. Meanwhile, Credit Agricole is also keen on purchasing Banco BPM’s insurance operations and has recently acquired a minority stake in Banco BPM.
