Swiss Re names Cordioli finance director

Swiss Re Ltd. announced Tuesday that Claudia Cordioli has been promoted to the newly created position of group finance director, effective May 1.
Ms. Cordioli, who was named chief financial officer, reinsurance, in 2020, will report to Group CFO John Dacey and will head various corporate finance and accounting functions, including the implementation of international financial reporting standards, a Swiss Re statement said.
Ms. Cordioli, who joined Swiss Re in 2003, was named one of the 2019 Business Insurance Women to Watch.
