Marsh promotes M&A executive to global role

Marsh LLC said Wednesday it has promoted Craig Schioppo to the newly created role of global head of transactional risk, Marsh Specialty, effective immediately.
Mr. Schioppo will continue as transactional risk practice leader for U.S. and Canada, in addition to his new role overseeing a global team placing transactional risk coverage, including representations and warranties insurance, for mergers and acquisitions.
Based in New York, Mr. Schioppo will report to Lucy Clarke, interim global specialty head of Marsh’s private equity and M&A practice.
