Security staff strike leads to cancelation of hundreds of flights

German airport security staff went on a one-day strike on March 22 over a wage dispute resulting in the cancelation of hundreds of flights flying to and from German airports, Al Jazeera reported. The labor union Verdi called for airport security staff strike at Frankfurt, Berlin, Bremen, Hamburg, Hanover, Stuttgart, Cologne Bonn and Duesseldorf airports in Germany.
