Biggest Russian cargo airline halts Boeing flights amid sanctions

Russia’s biggest cargo airline Volga-Dnepr Group of Cos. has suspended all flights using Boeing aircraft following Western sanctions on Russia that have affected the supply of aircraft and their parts to Russia, Business Insider reported citing Reuters. As part of the decision, Volga-Dnepr has suspended the operations of its two subsidiaries – AirbridgeCargo Airlines LLC and Atran LLC – thereby grounding 24 aircraft in all.
