Truckers’ strike disrupts supply chains, halts factories

Spanish truckers continued their nationwide strike on March 19 causing significant traffic and supply chain disruptions that affected businesses, including supermarkets and factories, Anadolu Agency report. The indefinite strike that commenced on March 14 against high diesel prices affected the movement of goods that forced companies including Cunext Copper Industries SL and Volkswagen AG to suspend work at their factories and supermarket chain Lidl to close several stores due to shortage of goods.
