New COVID-19 lockdown forces Tesla to halt production

Tesla Inc. has temporarily halted production at its Gigafactory in Shanghai on March 17 and 18 due to the strict lockdowns imposed in the region amid a rise in COVID-19 cases in China, Fortune reported citing Reuters. The halt will cause a daily output loss of approximately 2,000 cars.
