Coca-Cola, McDonald's join peers in halting operations in Russia

Giant consumer goods brands including Coca-Cola, McDonald's and Starbucks have joined the growing list of brands suspending operations in Russia in retaliation to the country’s invasion of Ukraine, BBC News reported. McDonald's and Starbucks are temporarily closing around 850 restaurants and 100 coffee shops, respectively, in Russia, while Coca-Cola and its rival Pepsi have also decided to suspend all operations in Russia.
