Bright Health to lay off 5% of workforce after losses

Bright Health Group Inc. is laying off 150 employees, totaling 5% of its workforce, after turning in losses for 2021, according to the Minneapolis Star Tribune, reports Becker’s Payer Issues. The Bloomington, Minnesota health care company reported a loss despite membership growth last year. Bright Health Group's Florida arm reported a 10-fold increase in enrollment for 2022 over 2021, but still reported losses, according to the Star Tribune.
