Bermuda to follow UK’s sanctions on Russia

Bermuda’s Premier Edward David Burt said that as an overseas territory of the U.K., Bermuda will implement all the sanctions imposed by the U.K. on Russia, as it continues its invasion of Ukraine, The Royal Gazette reported. The sanctions would affect aircraft on the Bermuda Aircraft Registry that are used by Russian airline operators. The sanctions could lead to the withdrawal of insurance coverage for Russian airplanes, effectively grounding them.
