CVS Health Corp. is suing a long list of U.S. and European insurance companies, accusing them of not covering damages and legal costs associated with thousands of lawsuits the retailer is facing for its alleged role in helping fuel the opioid crisis, reports WPRI.com. Woonsocket-based CVS says it is a defendant in thousands of opioid-related lawsuits, according to the complaint, and the company has already been found liable in at least one federal case out of Ohio, the report says.
