Renault halts plants in Russia as war affects supply of parts

French carmaker Renault SA will suspend some production at all three of its factories in Russia between Feb. 28 and March 5 as the ongoing war between Russia and Ukraine causes logistical issues resulting in shortage of components, Economic Times reported citing Reuters. Tighter border controls in transit countries and changes in several established logistics routes are affecting the supply of parts.
