Zurich hires broking leader from Chubb

Zurich North America on Thursday said it had named former Chubb Ltd. executive Ernie Salas to the newly created role of senior broker relationship leader.

Mr. Salas, based in Philadelphia, is responsible for developing relationships with distributors and distribution strategies with Zurich executives and leadership teams, Zurich’s statement said.

He was most recently senior vice president with Chubb Commercial Insurance, where he led the specialty casualty & construction customer group for North America.
