Longtime Zurich executive Sabrina Hart joins Munich Re

Former Zurich Insurance Group executive Sabrina Hart has joined Munich Re Specialty as president of its excess and surplus lines business.
Ms. Hart, who will be based in Atlanta, was previously executive vice president for Zurich’s Midwest zone in Chicago. She joined the insurer in 1997. In 2013, Ms. Hart was named one of the Business Insurance Women to Watch.
“I have tremendous confidence in her ability to both strengthen and expand our product offerings,” said Michael Kerner, CEO of Munich Re Specialty in a statement on the insurer’s LinkedIn page.
Mr. Kerner, who also spent more than 20 years at Zurich, joined Munich Re to launch the specialty unit in 2018.
