Activists say Lloyd’s not living up to its talk on ESG

Climate protection group Insure Our Future has accused Lloyd’s of London CEO John Neal of failing to respect the insurance marketplace’s own environmental, social and governance policy despite touting them extensively, Reinsurance News reported. Climate activists said that Mr. Neal has himself dubbed Lloyd’s official ESG policy as a “provocative discussion document” which is not mandatory for Lloyd’s members to adhere to.
