Low-cost airlines more exposed to Russia-Ukraine tension

According to U.K.-based risk management firm Russell Group Ltd., a likely closure of Ukrainian airspace is expected to affect low-cost airlines more than larger airlines amid the brewing tension between Ukraine and Russia, Actuarial Post reported. An analysis by Russell Group found that 70% of the more than 4,300 Ukraine flights scheduled for February are low-budget airlines.
