Scor sees 19% growth in premiums at renewals

French reinsurer Scor SE recorded an average increase of 5% in pricing and a premium growth of 19% at the January property and casualty reinsurance renewasl, including a large structured transaction on a well-diversified European portfolio not exposed to natural disasters, Blaze Trends reports. Excluding this transaction, the underlying growth was nearly 10%, with premiums increasing from €371 million ($424 million) to €4.1 billion.
