Typhoon damage to infrastructure, agriculture hits $915 million

Philippines’ National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council estimates that Typhoon Odette caused 47 billion Philippine pesos ($915 million) in total infrastructure and agriculture damage, Inquirer reported. The damage to agriculture stood at PHP17.7 billion and damage to infrastructure was at PHP29.3 billion. Visayas, Mindanao and parts of Luzon were most affected by the typhoon that battered the country in December 2021.
