ICICI Lombard’s premium income up 16%

India-based ICICI Lombard General Insurance Co. Ltd.’s gross direct premium income increased 16% year-on-year to 47 billion Indian rupees ($633.3 million) in the fiscal third quarter ending Dec. 31, 2021, CNBCTV18 reported. The nonlife insurer’s profit after tax reached INR3.2 billion, reflecting a modest 1.27% year-on-year growth.
