ILS, cat bond listings exceed $50 billion

The Bermuda Stock Exchange saw a 26% increase in the value of its listings of insurance-linked securities notes and catastrophe bonds in 2021, exceeding the $50 billion mark in outstanding capital for the first time, Artemis reported. Despite the emergence of new ILS domiciles, the Bermuda Stock Exchange had the highest number of ILS issuance on any exchange across the world.
